Our story
Holistic Kidz was established in Northern Ireland in 2019 as the first of its kind across the UK and Europe. Combining a passion for children with unmatched expertise in early years, wellness and outdoor learning, we deliver groundbreaking programs exclusive to Holistic Kidz, setting the highest standards for innovation, quality and meaningful impact, and firmly establishing ourselves as trusted leaders in the industry.
Since the launch of Holistic Kidz we have welcomed over 36,000 returning children and have built strong relationships with over 100 supporting schools and Organisations across Northern Ireland, the United Kingdom, Scotland, and the European Union.
Children do not remember their best day of watching television, they remember a childhood of muddy puddles, grassy knees, friendship, love and laughter here with us at Holistic Kidz.
Through our passion drive and vision we continuously strive to grow, develop and adapt our leading services and products, so to enhance the lives of children in a positive and beneficial way.
Our Founder & Camp Leader
Coach Colette, the heart and soul behind Holistic Kidz Forest Adventure & Wellness Co.
With a wealth of experience working with children and families, she brings a deep passion for childhood development, wellness, outdoor learning and creating spaces where every child can truly thrive!
Long before outdoor learning and child wellness became mainstream, Coach Colette was a trailblazer, introducing nature-based education and wellbeing programs to hundreds of schools and nurseries for the very first time.
She’s played a key role advocating for children’s needs with the Education Minister and local government, introducing them to the importance of outdoor play, emotional wellbeing and holistic development in early childhood. Colette has also volunteered her time to help local schools and nurseries here in South Belfast prepare for + pass their ETI outdoor learning inspections with flying colours!
Thanks to her dedication, countless children across the region now benefit from programs and policies that prioritise nature connection, mindfulness and whole-child learning.
With a background in Law and Early Years Childhood Studies, Colette perfectly blends structure with warmth. Her calm, caring nature and strong leadership create a nurturing, empowering environment for campers and coaches alike.
You’ll find her right in the heart of the action, supporting her team, encouraging kids, sharing laughter and making sure every child feels valued, safe and celebrated.
Coach Colette leads with a big heart and every camper’s journey is brighter because of her.
